Qld: CEOs expect Queensland to lead economic recovery

BRISBANE, Feb 5 AAP - Queensland's CEOs expect the state to lead Australia's economic recovery.

But they think there are dark days ahead over the next 12 months.

A survey of 70 Queensland business leaders by the CEO Institute shows 88 per cent don't
expect an improvement in economic conditions before 2010.

None expect things to get better in the next three months.

And only 10 per cent think they'll turn the corner by mid-year.
