NSW: Newcastle disease reappears on NSW farms
SYDNEY, Feb 3 AAP - The devastating Newcastle disease has reappeared on several poultry
farms in New South Wales, veterinary authorities said today.
State chief veterinary officer Dick Jane said investigations were underway into posible
outbreaks of the virus in a number of poultry flocks in NSW, including one near Tamworth,
in the north.
Dr Jane said the virus appeared to be under control at three western Sydney farms where
it had been identified.
