NSW:Motorbikes stolen at Aussie Dirt Bike Championship

SYDNEY, Aug 10 AAP - High-performance motorbikes belonging to competitors in the AustralianDirt Bike Championships have been stolen, police said today.

Two men are facing goods in custody and drug possession charges following the theft.

A car and trailer laden with dirt bikes and riding gear was stolen from a hotel carparkat Homebush Bay about 6pm (AEST) on Friday.

The stolen vehicle was later seen in the Campbelltown area and early yesterday, NSWpolice went to a house, in Crommelin Crescent, St Helens Park, south of Campbelltown.

Police searched the property and also found a number of allegedly stolen credit cardsand illegal drugs.

Two St Helens Park men were arrested at the house to appear before Campbelltown LocalCourt on September 3.

A 24-year-old man was charged with four counts of goods in custody and a 21-year-oldwas charged with two counts of possess prohibited drug.
