Qld: Nelson moves to avoid confrontation
BRISBANE, April 13 AAP - A former Queensland One Nation MP has moved his parliamentary
office away from one time party colleagues so he won't be tempted to punch them.
Tablelands MP Shaun Nelson said he could not stand being so close to "liars and cheats", so
today he moved his files out of his ninth floor office and into new rooms on parliament's
seventh floor.
"Worst case scenario I could've flogged someone," Mr Nelson told Channel Ten news.
"No-one picks on me but they certainly were trying to make it hard for me.
"I had threats placed under my door and so on."
Queensland One Nation leader Bill Feldman said he would not dignify the matter with a
response.
Another One Nation MP, Peter Prenzler, said he was "mystified" by the move.
